Yahoo Can't Send Email to Gmail?

Oh my gosh! This is so annoying! I use my yahoo mail yesterday and today trying to send an email to a buddy who uses gmail, and the email can't get through! And when I use the same yahoo account send an email to another yahoo holder, it's perfectly fine! I am wondering is it just me or if any of you have experience the same thing?

It can't be. I always use Yahoo Mail to send e-mail to my husband's Gmail account and there is no problem at all. Just now, after reading your discussion, I tried to send e-mail from my Yahoo Mail to my Gmail and again, there is no problem. I received the e-mail in a split second right after I sent it.
I am not sure what happened to you and I am really sorry as I don't have the answer for your problem... Hope you will solve it soon!

That's really strange! Yes I have another buddy who is using gmail and I send to him just fine. Maybe it's just that one particular gmail that's acting weird! *laughs* Thanks for testing out for me though, appreciated your help!

Hello wondericequeen,
Did you try to resend the e-mail after that? If you didn't, you should try it then. It happened to me quite a few times before. When I checked my e-mail and wanted to delete it, the yahoo error page appeared. I tried to delete one more time and everything seemed to be like usual.

Oh yes that happened to me before too! I did try again this morning but the letter still didn't want to go through, so I ended up using a hotmail to send to gmail, and that worked fine, weird enough!

Nope, that has never happened to me... it's really annoying, I can't believe they would do such a thing!! Maybe it was just bad luck, did you try again one or two days later?
I know for sure that when you send from hotmail to hotmail or from yahoo to yahoo, etc, the e-mails do arrive much faster than those from different companies... I don't know why though...

It still doesn't work and it's really crazy! But I think I will use hotmail and try to send to gmail and see how it goes!

I have not had any such problem till now. I have been using both yahoo and gmail id's and i have sent many mails back and forth and have not had any such instances. You can better check with the friend whether you had received it in his bulk mail folder or if he had given you the correct email id.

Weird. He sent me an email and I just hit reply and typed in the content and then when I hit send, it was the Yahoo Error page. I find that a bit funny because I have never experienced that problem before and it indeed is quite new to me. I might just use another email to send emails to him then, to save me from trouble!

I dont have any problem as i have a friend who holds a gmail id and to whom i daily send personal mails and forwarded messages.I never had any problem even while sending lot of attachments.
Even i have a gmail id which i use for one of my online job and send lot of job related mails to various emaild ids.

When you upload an attachment using Yahoo email, it takes a very long time.
