All kinds of people

Working with the public, I see all sorts of different people. Happy, sad, mad, you name it. I often wonder what makes their lives what they are. Are they terminally upset with everything in their lives? Are they always that happy? Are they always that polite? I often wonder about their life stories and what lessons they have learned in life. I have had a lot of tragedy and stress in my life, but I have come out of it ahead. I am a happy person most of the time and I don't sit around and make my problem someone elses'. There seems to be many people like this, but there are also those who feel they are never to blame for what goes on in their lives, good or bad. Does anyone else think like this, or is it just me? Thanks in advance for responding!

To me it is a good lesson for us enhance our level of proficiency in customer relationship. I will learn the key of success in handling their case and always need psychological reasons to attend their cases as a wisdom reaction. Because of this one killer sentence "Customer is always right". And it give many benefits or advantages to be bold in public relationship. And to do 'home business' as we are already famous to them. Many contacts.

That sentence is a killer. And I tell everyone who says it to me "If that was true, no one would be in business for more than a week. Now how can I help you?"

Yes that sentence is a killer and we must all remember that in customer service. I know it is hard sometimes, but we just have to deal with it!

So many people on this earth and everyone chooses to handle their problems differently. Those who are positive about the situations can usually turn anything into a good experience or make a gain. I'm trying more and more to channel those positive vibes and bring myself closer to success by using those energies.

I read once, I think it was in a psychology book, that we are born with our happiness meter set at a certain level. I truly believe this is true. People I knew that were kinda grumpy when they were kids are still pretty much that way. Also, I think attitude has a lot to do with it. My dad drilled it into me about always keeping a positive attitude, and this has stayed with me. Another thing is that I have learned that the way people treat you is a reflection of the way they feel about themselves. So if they feel angry inside, they will probably come across as angry towards you, even though it is not personal. It is so hard to know what is going on inside people's minds and lives. Great post!

Thanks! I know what you mean, and I have heard this said before. That is why I always try to treat the angry ones with more happiness when dealing with them. I always hope that smiling at someone in passing and asking how are you might make their day a little brighter!

I worked in retail for about 3 years and would see alot of the same people coming in. You're right i did see people who were either generally happy or generally sad whenever they came in to shop. It did make me wonder if these people are always like this or it just because they are at their favorite store or something like that. I would like to believe that these people are just generally happy.

I agree with you, it would be nice if everyone in the world was generally happy all the time.
