Yes i have cried, and its natural to cry and its in a way good to emote out too and express out your tears once in a while. The reason can be personal, or work related, or a combination of both, because we never know what mood we are in when we land in the office. At times something has upset us at home and we have to leave for office, its tough to switch off all of a sudden when we come to work and thoughts keep coming to our mind regarding our personal life, and we cry. Same thing happens incase we go home and have had a bad day at office , that too makes us cry,so reasons can be any. But once we do cry off for a little while, we feel lighter and better. So incase you do feel lke crying, its better to go to the wash room and cry out or even sit in your chair and cry out for a few minutes, as there after you would feel better, lighter and beable to resume work, rather than sit and hold onto your tears, thoughts, and not be able to wrk allday long.

Very true! I don't usually cry but after I do, I usually feel so much lighter and I feel that my troubles are lessened somehow! I think crying is a good way to clean the soul sometimes!

yup, as far as I remember here in my present job, I cried twice already, the first one was because of the son of my boss,he got mad at me for the reasons I really do not know and he has badmouthed me and I cried when I reach my table,I just cannot believe he could say those things in front of me..we're ok now though, I guess I have proven him wrong and I have his trust now.
The last one was when my mom got sick, dad called from the province and he sounds so worried, I immedialtely when home right after that phone call.

Oh my god! I guess for the first one you cried for "feeling unfair" being blackmouthed at! But I am glad that you guys are fine now. Oh sorry to hear the second one. I remember that I had a phone call like that about my dad too, I had to leave immediately after talking on the phone. I didn't cry at that time because I couldn't really gather my thoughts and emotions all together.

Not really!
But sometimes it did happen with me that I felt like crying when I was blamed for something, for which I committed no wrong. If I felt down and out in the office, it was due to office affairs, not due to persoanl affairs.

Hi wondericequeen! I did cry once in the office when I was young. I just finished my college degree and it was my first job. I did everything I was told but it came to the point that I felt I was being taken advantage of and so that's why i cried. I really don't know how to react on situations like that before because I was very young then. Take care and have a nice day!
