I'm a night owl so if I don't have to work I usually go to bed around 3 or 4 am. I'm either up watching tv or on the internet. Usually I'm doing both on the computer while the TV is on. I've always stayed up late for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I could stay up later than anyone else I was up while other's had long fallen asleep. Both my parents were morning people so I don't know why I'm a night owl.

I'm a night owl as well. During summer time when school's out, me and my brother tend to sleep very late - 12 midnight or even later than that. The internet always keep me up. There's always something to do! My brother has an internet on his phone too so we find ourselves surfing the 'net even when the lights are already out. However, during school time, school works keep me up but I make it a point to sleep as early as possible as I need to wake up early the next day.

Another night owl here. Usually, it's the computer (particularyly the internet) that keeps me up. Lately, I've been hooked to the Impossible Game and the geek Quest Volume Two. I mean, man, I can do it all day!

i don't usually sleep at night becaue i work in a call center which operates 24/7 so i don't get the chance to sleep at night. most of my schedules are on graveyard shifts but i'm used to it. if it's my off duty then i sleep very early..sometimes whole day.

I'm like you, I'll have the tv on while I sit at the computer. I don't pay much attention to it while I type. It's there just for the noise. I forget to turn the tv off a lot when I go to sleep which is usually around 1 AM.

I'm a night owl too and 3 or 4 am is sometimes my favorite time. I worked days (7am-3:30pm or thereabouts) for about 35 years but the getting up early part never was easy for me. I haven't been working for about 2 years now and it's like a big treat for me to stay up late and not have to suffer the next morning. Here's a funny part of it...I'm married but I stay with my mom who's 90 years old since she broke her hip a few years ago and I'm 55 but I still get "yelled at" by my mother for staying up too late. "Aren't you going to bed tonight?" is her favorite. I feel like telling her "I think I already missed that." I've always said I could get the exact same number of hours sleep but if I got to bed at 9 pm and get up at 5 I'm not going to want to get up while if I go to bed at 4 am and get up at noon I'm just fine.

I wake up every morning at a reasonable time, its just the fact that I go to bed too late. About 11pm-12am on school nights, and wake up the next morning at about 6am, sometimes 7. In the weekends I stay up till about 3am, wake up the next day at about 12pm.

I choose to stay late, and I'm used to sleeping at around the same time as you! :) I'm more energetic and productive as well. My work is at 2 in the afternoon so I can afford to stay as late(or early morning) as I want to. I used to work at graveyard shift too and I had no trouble adjusting to their schedule. I never noticed if I was this way when I was younger but I know I was never a morning person, I was always late for school.

I used to work from 3:30-12 and graveyard sometimes. I find that schedule really makes you lazy. I didn't wake up until about 1 or 2 pm when I worked 3:30-12 then it was time to go to work. I worked that schedule for years. Then I worked from 7am-3:30 and I thought that would be a shock but I kind of liked that schedule.

If I don’t have to work I usually go to bed before 2am. Of course you know I am still busying with my mylotting till late in the night. Even though I know to sleep late after 11pm is not good for health I still couldn’t refrain myself from doing so. If I have to work I always try my best not to go to bed after 1am as I have to wake up early 6:30am in the morning.

I used to go to bed early but ever since last year, I have been going to sleep around 2 am. I stay up to read .That's the only time I have that I can read in peace without disturbances from my children.

Same here,. Even I'm a night owl and I usually sleep around 3 am or 4 am. I can't sleep before that. I'm either on the internet or meditating or reading something. But I just don't like to sleep at nights.

Nowadays I want to go to bed early because if I can't sleep enough, I will be so tired next day when I am working. So I try to go to bed at about 12am.

How can you stay awake whole night, don't you have to go to work next day. I get up every morning at 5 am and by the time I go to sleep it is about 11 or 11:30 at night. I always feel that I am not getting enough sleep, feel so tired whole week and wait for weekend to get good sleep. I think one can get healthy peaceful sleep only during night hours.......may be you should try to change your life style. Have a nice day........oh no.......have a nice night......:D,,,,,

Like you, I am also a night owl. I usually sleep around 1 am, sometimes 2 am. Usually I watch TV or read the papers before I retire to bed. For as long as I can remember, I never go to bed at 10 or 11 pm, and I wonder why some people tuck to bed so early. To me, sleeping early is like wasting the night away. You get more sleep, but you lose precious hours where you can do some productive or relaxing thing.

I usually go to to bed early at around 9pm... the latest is around 12am. When I sleep over at some friend's house, I hit the sack at around 2am. BEfore i go to sleep, I do some relaxation and unload the day's events in a diary...or i read some books. i can't go to bed without washing myself. I can't sleep well when I'm not home.

maybe you should change your regular life,i think it isn't health to be a night owl,it's a pity you can't often catch the morning sunshine.i think it is the most wonderful.make a alarm clock, and force yourself to wake up,for about weeks you would become a morning people.
