Let's visit Malaysia!!

Hello, thalhah...I have visited your beautiful country...was in Kuala Lumpur last Sept. 22-30, 2007...and we missed of course the Independence Day celebration...however when we were there, we noted your national flags displayed all over the streets, parks, condos, malls, and other public places, manifesting your festive celebration. We were billeted at Hotel Capitol and was in full view to the Petronas Twin tower. We also visited the KL Menara Telecom tower, the National Planetarium, and a lot of beautiful places in the city. They really took our breath away. Of course, Putra Jaya, some 25 kms. from Kuala Lumpur is impressive--we learned from our tour guide that it's the new seat of national government for Malaysia--we toured the place and were awed at the lampposts of different sizes and shapes, the breathtaking view set amidst the Prime Minister's official home and a lot more. We travelled by bus to Singapore, and enjoyed the beautiful, clean highways lined up with miles and miles of palm trees. In fact I brought home some souvenirs from Malaysia and gave them to family and close friends. I recommended to my son and husband that your country is a must visit, and I think they're planning to...
