I don't like to submit links because they sometimes don't work but this is very cute. Click here to see the picture. http://www.reimanpub.com/LL_Nwsltr/JPage/2007/08/jp1.html?pmcode=LLN200708&e=52626

Neat looking dog. Of course, he looks just like the dog in my avatar when he was a puppy. However, I could never teach this dog to play "tug o'war" with a sock. Many dogs do this naturally, but not mine! He won't fetch either! My dog's saving grace is that he is very good at keeping rabbits and deer out of the yard and garden. He's disappointed that these "friends" no longer come around so often to "play".

Sounds like you have a precious one. Mine won't fetch, but they do love to play tug of war.

All labs I've ever known were exceptionally nice. Which reminds me of a true story. I use to know a man who worked with dogs on patrol in the Vietnam war. He said they briefly experimented with labs but had to give it up. They were too friendly. They were smart and could track, but when they found the enemy they would not bark and become aggressive. They would want to play! I guess everyone should have followed the lab's example!

How cute. My dogs usually greet me with a chewed up shoe. I think I put them where they can't get to them, but I underestimate the little stinkers. Thanks for the cute picture.
