Does anyone use the Mirena IUD?

I had the Mirena IUD inserted a little more than a year ago and sometimes I have really bad cramps. Does the Mirena cause anyone else to do this? It only happens every now and then, but will it stop after I have had the Mirena in for a little longer or will I just have to live with it?
