not really.
i had a friend from my child-age and now this friendship broked.
i have several reasons to make this brake.
but after that we didnt communicate each other.
no nasty names, no fight, nothing.
i think that's correct, i think who uses nasty names at this situation is very childy person.

Though it hurts to say it, I also experienced these name-callings. it hurts because they were my friends, but I understand their frustrations. I would just like to think that it is just a part of life, that people come and go.
People say such these to yes, sometimes to make themselves feel better. Some are out of jealousy, envy and others that we can't seem to fathom. But of course, as a good and better person, we just let them thik or say what they want as long as we know we are doing the right thing.

Dependant upon the maturity of that previous friend. I have had people call me names and make up rumors about me and make me look bad, but there have been people who I decided not to be friends with that just let it go and moved on with their life and I moved on with mine, with no name calling or bitter feelings. It all depends on the maturity level of the person.

when i was a child, i guess its natural to tease or call nasty names just to get even when you are fighting. but now some still do i guess its true, they tend to do that just to make themselves feel better. In a smaller way they can get back on you so they do things like that.

Hi EZhang! When there is some kind of misunderstanding or I broke up a relationship with them because of some fight or argument, I don't resort to name callings or make nasty remarks about them. I just don't know if they resort to that because I haven't heard that they did. I am just glad that we maintain some kind of respect even the frindship turned cold. Take care and have a nice day!

If someone calls me names I will ignore them. It's better not to have a name-calling person in your life anyway. If the friendship is over, then the friendship is over. No use giving them reasons to hang on and keep annoying you.
