U can get a pcmica card to plug into the side of your computer so that you can use wi-fi if it is a good computer I would not get rid of it

As the first respondant said you can use a PCMCIA card which fits into the slot at the side, or you can buy a USB dongle which looks similar to a large flash drive. You would also need a wireless router to link to. Several wireless routers provide a USB dongle, so it may be worth looking around the local computer store.

Hi Gkings. You still can use your laptop for wifi. If it has a slot for a wifi, which I believe you answered already earlier, you have to buy a wifi card for your laptop and need to configure that card and install it in your laptop. If you are not so knowledgeable with computers, you may want somebody to configure it out for you so you can use it in wifi hot spots. Good luck!
