What do you miss about being "single"?.

Not really anything. I still have my freedom, I can still go where I want when I want, sleep as late as I won't (well when I'm off work) go to bed as late as I won't, etc. I do things for him because I want too, not because he expects it from me.

You have a very good relationship!Alot would like to have this,i also have this but sometimes i think to much about the past and not enjoy how good my life is now that im not single anymore and with a family,like a full circle instead of a line to a box.:)

Oh dont i know the peace and quiet thing,haha!I miss this alot,but when i am alone and its uiet i wish my daughter wa here and my boyfriend,haha!At least some noise.:)

well, i pretty much enjoy everything about married life. so let's see, is there anything i miss?
well, perhaps having the ability to just up and go. take off without consulting someone else. but i guess if one really loves another, then you would want to do things together anyway.
i guess i might also miss the ability to eat the foods i want! cos sometimes he doesn't like the smell of some pungent fruits i enjoy.

I'm widowed, so I gotta turn this around a bit. I miss being married. I miss the everyday routine, and the end of the day, sharing our days happening with each other, and sitting watching tv together. Now I guess I like being on my own as I can do what I want. I've had some doozie's for boyfriends since hubby passed away, and they wanted to tell me what to do, and I would have to tell them when I was going someplace. Not anymore lol. I only answer to my bird and cat these days lol.

I havent been single now for 12 years but the things I do miss are being able to not shave my legs for ages and nobody noticing ha ha.
Also being able to just watch what you want on TV without having to watch football all the time.
Being able to choose what you do without having to consult anyone else.
Really though I wouldnt choose to be single again if I had the choice.

Its been 8 1/2 years for me of being attached,but i do miss some things.The freedom.Not worrying about someone else.Before i was a VERY independant person and sometimes i wonder,what have i got myself into.I never had long relationships before and thats what i liked,But when i look at my little girls face and see her smile and say i love you mommy.If i was single i wouldnt of had this beautiful child with HIM,my love.I too woudnt choose to be single again.Thankyou very much for responding!....peanutjar.
