I am a FIRM believer that what goes around comes around. A very filthy family member of mine who had done some terrible things to the people around him wound up old, disabled (suffering the aftermath of multiple heart attacks, and strokes) with no one to love or care for him. The horrible part about it was that I never felt any remorse when he met his demise. I just felt that I should have some degree of compassion, but I just couldn't muster any.

I've seen that Karma does come back, not personally, I've always tried to do good things, and be good to people, I've had my share of bad things happen to me and maybe those were my karma, but my ex who is an awful person, is now without any rights to his son, and on furlough from jail which means if he does one thing wrong, they yank him right back in for non payment of child support and that's not even the worst that he's done, but his life will never be as full of promise as it once was, and he is proof that being a bad person, will haunt you.

Wow. What an example. I'm sorry to hear you've had to deal with that in your life, but so many us have similar stories, though we wish we had not! And I completely agree with you. Your bad deeds will follow you to the grave. It's just too bad that they have to effect everyone else, though. Wish there was a karmic shield, huh, to protect the innocent?
