What's the most money you've ever found on the street/ground?

I once saw $5 lying on the ground in front of my ex bf's apartment building. I was going to keep it but my ex said he thought it belonged to a young couple who lived across from him and he took it and gave it to them. I was so mad. He gave it to them because they didn't have a lot of money so I guess he felt sorry for them even though there was no way to prove the money was theirs. I'm like hey I'm not rich myself I could sure use the money was well. That's the most I ever found but I didn't get to keep it. What about you?

I found $35 (US) once while walking to work. Kinda sucks for the person who lost it but there wasn't anyone around so whatever...I've lost plenty of 10s and 20s in my life to make up for it.

the most money that i have found was 2 twenties on the ground in front of my home (now my parents house...my hubby has found a twenty dollar bill too but thats the most i have found ever!

Years ago at about Christmastime I opened my car door and there on the ground layed a 20 dollar bill. since it was way out int the parking lot I figured finders keepers. That $20.00 made my kids christmas that year. That was when $20.00 was worth something.
