Okay, I must say that I can't stand the place because of the swarms of people everywhere, the lack of customer service, and the lack of brains when they make their rules. I will admit though, that every payday I end up back there and that is exactly what they want. I ended up still going back because of having two kids that I often take shopping with me...everything is in one store. But..haha Walmart...they are starting school this fall and I am going to start shopping elsewhere. I will take the extra time out of my day and go to my local grocery store, to Kmart, to Target, and other places as they are right near me.
The final straw was today in their photo lab where you can use the machines to make copies of photos using their scanner.
They wouldn't let me print 3 photos because they were professional photos. I understand the legal issues behind this (for certain circumstances) as of course no photographer wants to lose money.....but these photos were from the 1800's. These were old family photos. I told them the age of the photos and the "highly intelligent" photo lab tech said that I would need written permission from the photographer in order to make copies of those. I reminded her they are from the 1800's...um DUH...NOT POSSIBLE!
She said she understands but I would still need their permission...wow....talk about brains....then I was told that if they copied those photos and the company wanted to press the issue she could be personally fined $15,000 because it would be against the law.
Did she think she was speaking to an idiot? Well, I apparently was speaking to one as again, these photos were from the 1800's and if it is illegal then how come Giant Eagle and Target will allow professional copies made if they are older then 60years??? Because it is not against the law if the photos are past a certain age.
I am done with WalMart...I am done wasting time there and I am done with there stupid employees that can't even take a moment to think for themselves instead of acting like unemotional and improperly programmed robots.
Anyone else with me?

Do you know they're told NOT to help people if people are injured in the store?they even have to ask the person lying there if they want an ambulance. One woman got her arm caught in a newspaper vending macgine and it would have taken just a second to help her out but and employese wouldnt touch her for fear of a law suit. Walart turns people into zombies, that just follow the grain.only thing I can say is, the bigger they are the harder they fall, I cannot wait to see that day!

I hate Wal-Mart. I hate it because my husband works there and the insurance he had through them was useless, I hate it because the customer service sucks, I hate it because of people like the lady you are talking about. I hate it because of the rules they have related to employees and shopping, where basically employees don't get fair treatment as customers. I hate it because my husband had to step down from his management job because apparently the 60-something hours a week they asked wasn't enough, and they were going to give him MORE hours... essentially meaning I would never see him and he would never get to do anything.
And yet I shop there. And he still works there. Why? Because finding another job in the town where we live that would pay what he makes there right now would be impossible. And because there's simply nowhere else to shop here. Everything is cheaper at Wal-Mart, and we are poor. So I shop there anyway, because otherwise I couldn't feed my family, or have clothes to wear, or anything. It's that much cheaper than anywhere else here... that I literally cannot shop anywhere else. *sighs*
