I just bought a digital camera that requires batteries to operate. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the kind of batteries(brand) I should buy. I've used one time use batteries that last a while in the camera, but after awhile those batteries get expensive. Which rechargable batteries are the best?

The cheaper the battery the shorter the battery lasts. I have noticed buying batteries made for digital cameras. Made by duracell last longer and works the best. In the case of batteries. I believe you get what you pay for.

Does the camera manuel recommend anything? I would go with that if it does. Another thing to consider is that a rechargable battery will most likely be a lot more expensive than the primary(one use) battery. Two main things to consider are that the battery must have the right voltage for the camera and, of course, must fit in the battery compartment. If the manuel doesn't recommend or suggest a rechargable battery, then most likely there isn't one that fits. If the manuel does give the specifications and you can find a rechargable battery that fits them, then just about any of the major brands that make rechargable batteries would probably be O'K.
