Maybe some of you know that each year in Buenos Aires there is the World Tango Championship. It is for 5 days, and this year it started yesterday, and for 5 days - 422 couples from 22 countries will be competing. And the competitors will be wittled down to 2 sets of champion, one for each category: Salon Tango and Stage Tango. Believe me, I really, really would like so much to be able to go there and watch how the best couples in the world are competing and performing, and if possible to get some lessons from the best as well...Would you like to go and enjoy the best of Tango there too?

Well my dear - it really is worth a visit. My partner is from Argentina, so he goes home every year to visit his elderly Mother and other relatives there, and I normally go with him every other year. We don't always go to the Tango thing, but our visits have coincided a couple of times. It is very interesting and spectacular to watch, and well worth a visit if you get the opportunity. Btw - he must be the only Argentine in the world who can't dance at all - not just the tango but any kind of dancing - he prefers to sit in the bar and watch everyone else LOL!

Wow Rosie, so you went there huh, and the more, your partner is from there! It's a pity that you are not able to do the passionate Tango in the streets of Buenos Aires in his arms though, LOL

Absolutelly YES! Tango is so hot and passionate dance with such a grace and charm! I put it at number ONE of all the kinds of dancing techniques. I would love to learn it with my girlfriend as she is a professional dancer with 9 years standing. As well, I like how "Gotan Project" is interpreting the music and passion of Tango dance and its accomanying music. Tango is Passion!
