Do you frequently shop in malls or smaller retail stores?

A good number of shopping malls are being established in my city since last couple of years. One of them is Vishal Mega Mart another is City Mart . It is alleged that Vishal is ruining in a planned manner many small retailers . That is business issues , aren't they ? Whether there is any adverse affect on consumers is a debatable question .
But it is true that people are more and more attracted and gradually getting attached to these malls because of many reasons one being availability of many products under one roof and discount on a certain minimum quanity of purchase .
But i personally am not interested in going to malls rather than smaler retailers with who we have had a relationship . I don't knoe whrther i am emotional in this respect .
What is your habit of shopping ? Do you frequent to these shopping malls ? Or do you prefer to be with amller retailers ?

My favorite place to go shopping is in malls or supermarkets. They offer lots of stuff on the racks for their customers to choose from. What's more, it is usually comfortable with music on and cheap in malls. It is always my first option for shopping in malls or supermarkets.

To be frank, I am really bored with the shopping malls we have. Everywhere looks the same to me and they have got all these stores which are the results of the globalization. It's hard finding something really unique with all those chain stores. I love going to small stores because I see the heart of the owner picking the stuff and they are usually very friendly and with more unique style!

My first preference is to shop online, but if I go to a store, I'd rather not go to a mall. Either a small boutique or just a store that isn't inside a mall.

There is a mini grocery store near our rented house so most of the times I buy our needs there especifically our grocery needs. But if we buy clothes, shoes, or any other things I go to the mall. And if I am well I also buy our grocery needs to the mall far from our place. I need to travel for more than 15 minutes to get there. The prices of goods are lower compared to the nearby grocery store.

I usually go to malls, but most of time just to cool off or window shop. I do buy some stuff in the mall but only when there's a sale. I prefer to shop in the smaller retailer stores because they have more unique items there. Aside from it is not very crowded, the price are also cheaper.

I prefer the smaller local retailers as you get more freindly and personnel service and if you are loyal to them they will go out of there way to get a special item for you or pick something up they think you may like also they will let you take things and pay later if you forget your wallet and they know you will be back. The bigger store the peopel jsut do not care as they should they are there punching a clock and they make you feel that you should not bother them sometimes.

if its few things that i need i tend to go and buy in small retailers. its easier and hassle free, no need to fall in lines, dont have to go farther.

Unless there is an awesome sale going on at the mall I prefer to shop and smaller retail stores or discount stores. We don't have money to shop very often we live on a very limited budget so we need to stretch every dollar we have.

Usually, I went to mall infrequently. Sometimes, I went there with my friends. Only thing that irrate me to spend money is stuff on sale and first come to my eyes.

for me i don't really go just everywhere, first i will try to see if those things they are selling is good for me but mostly i prefer to shop in malls but sometimes i do also go to small retail stores because it seems affordable for a student like and be practical enough in the use of your money. in my country, they prefer to go to small retail stores because it is affordable but it nice.

I prefer doing shopping in the mall to doing shopping in small stores.
First of all, I save money by doing shoppig in the mall, because they have lower prices, much lower.
Second reason is that I don't like shopping in general, so I do my shopping about once a week, but it is a big shooping LOL I can get everything I need in one place, when I go to the mall.
I like also the fact, that I can choose everything from the shelf, without asking. In small stores sometimes you should ask the seller what you would like to get, i really don't like it.
