my company doesn't give me extra money if we had to stay working after working hours. but if I came late to my office. the company will reduce my salary. it is not fair... and how about you, do your company will give you extra money for working after working hours?.

My company doesn't pay overtime allowances too and we work pretty long hours around here, usually till 8.30pm and we all get too tired to do other things else after work. It's basically like a torture being in the office working for such long hours. I don't think many companies are fair because they just want to ensure they have their own benefits.

Well, again it depend on the nature of job u r doing and nature of business ur company is in. we also dont get overtime for staying late and we do stay late in textile sector and in Morning, coming on time is Decipline and u should follow it, But in our company workers and assistant superviser till some salary bracket are paid over time and above that its not allowed. Its not fair but unemployment ratio in third world countries and developing countries is making it happen

Our company gives extra pay for official and filed ahead of time overtime. In our case since we are working in a shiftng basis we just cant leave work as we like, we find relievers to work on our behalf and its also consisdered as overtime work. For overtime we have a regular shedule for it and its always fixed for a particular schedule.

hello, prily, you are not the only person who experience that.
many companies set up the strict principles and systems for the staff, for example, the system for attendation. you should be always punctual, sometime ahead of time.but if you are late at most 5 minutes, you will be fined.
According to the law of labor, some companies give staff three times of salary for working overtime.but others don't.
