I too was a chocolate addict. I used to have chocolates too often in a day. Buddy i have also tried to lost weight but in vain because i always have half a bar of chocolate everyday. I think if u r so serious about losing weight then stop chocolates right away. or atleast for few days while u reduce to a level

I think the best way to see just how much chocolate you eat in a day would be to keep a food diary - and be honest.
As for moderation, to me it means not being excessive so personally 1-2 bars a day would be plenty. After all that would be 7-14 bars a week. I guess if you start thinking in these terms you will be able to guage how much is too much and moderate yourself accordingly.
Chocolate is really nice but I think sometimes we have to remember that it is a luxury and we CAN live without it.

Dark chocolate is actually good for you and lowers cholesterol. They say two ounces a day of plain chocolate is best. CocoaVia has 1 ounce bars that are great and you can't really overindulge since they are individually wrapped. But two ounces seems to be the about what a person can and should eat daily for health and to avoid gaining weight from the extra calories and fat.
It isn't much bit savor it. lol.
If you want VERY healthy chocolate muffin tops and brownies, go to www.vitalicious.com. (I have no affiliation with them at all. I am just a customer.) All natural chocolate sweets that are 100 calories and under 2 grams of fat. Plus high in good things like fiber. It takes 15 minutes to walk one off. They are things I have on hand at all times and I never end up eating the "bad stuff" because the good stuff tastes as good as the bad.
Good luck!
