Wrestling spoilers

August 22, 2007 5:23pm CST
Do you guys like to read the spoilers and rumours about what will happen in the WWE or do you like to be surprised? I used to read all the rumour sites but found out that I wasn't enjoying wrestling much, so since Decemebr 2005 I have decided to avoid the rumours and just watch. I must admit I have started to enjoy wrestling a lot more since.

I usally like to read spoilers of smackdown because its usally posted on a tuesday so when friday comes around I usally forget most of what happend so it dosnt really bother me lol. If raw isnt live and taped a few hours before the show then I wont look at the spoilers for the show since its only a couple hours away and for some reason I just dont want to look at the spoilers for raw. But I like to see what feuds are going to happen and whos going to turn face or heel and what wrestler is switching shows I love to read all that.

Well, I don't get the wrestling channel anymore, so I only rely on the website of WWE for all my information. I try not to get into the whole rumor side of things. But I do read up on all the latest news. For raw and smackdown, I find what happened from the website, but when it's a pay per view, which I know I might get to watch, then I try to stay away from the site, and I don't wanna know anything about who won or who lost. I'd like to make my own guesses, and watch it for myself. So to answer your question, I guess I don't like spoilers. For example, if I come across a discussion here about summerslam results before I've watched it, then I would definitely not read it.

yeah, it just spoils the whole experience if you already know who's gonna win.

I never read the spoilers as I would rather find out on the show what is going to happen. It is not as interesting to watch when you already know what is or may happen. I cut part of my tv service off so I can only watch Smackdown right now. I do not like to know what is going to happen ahead of time for anything, not just wrestling. It ruins the moment.

Well, personally I prefer to wait and find out whoi wins, although it gets exciting sometimes, I do prefer to wait.

I just watch the matches! It is no fun when you have read what is going to happen. Sometimes when I miss a match I will go to the WWE website and check it out, and that usually tells me more than I wanted to know, lol. I enjoy wrestling for the entertainment it provides so I really don't keep up with the news of the WWE.

I work for a wrestling magazine so I have to have all the info. But I will only read three sites out of all the sites on the net because they are the only reliable ones there are. I don't read rumors. I read fact. They sometimes get things wrong but, having worked with two of the three sites, I have to say they have some very reliable sources. Most other sites either steal news from those sites or make crazy stuff up and hope it comes true. I like spoilers. I am used to them and am curious like that. Plus I have to get the news to the magazine. But I refuse to read some little kid's rumor site. I can't even believe some of the craziness I have seen being put out there as fact.
