I realize that I don't wear make-up on the day that I knew for sure I don't have to go out. My make-up consist of eyeliner, and lip stick. I don't wear anything else on my face. Some of my friends though, they woke up and put on make up or else they can function. What about you? Do you wear making when you are at home? Do you think it'd change your mood?

Most of us here are not make-up users. Wonder who Maybelline, L'oreal, and Almay sell their make-up to? (LOL)

Hi IcyCucky! I really don't wear make-up at all except for a baby powder that I put on my face just to minimize the oiliness of my skin and to look fresh somehow. I guess, I really want to be all natural when I am just in the comforts of my home. Take care and have a nice day!

I have dried skin so I use lotion instead. No foundation of any kind. In the summer, I splash water on my face to feel fresh. You too, have a nice day.

I very rarely ever wear make-up at all. Only when we are ging out to a party or an important dinner. My husband prefers that I dont wear it. I work at an indoor pool where the room is around 90 degrees all the time,I cant wear makeup to work or I feel like I'm melting. I do sometimes think makeup can change your mood and lift your spirits though.

Yes, it does. I agree. When you feel confident about your look, you have a better outlook, and your spirit is higher. Wonder if this has anything to do with self-esteem?

When I put on make-up, even if it's just lipstick and eyeliner, I feel more presentable. So I know the feeling it gives.

I must admit I leave my eyeliner on when I go to bed sometimes. I don't wear mascara though. And for lipstick, you know, it comes off during the day.

Shoot, I dont even hardly wear it when I go out or to work. When I do wear it I usually forget about it and smear it anyway. I do like wearing it, it makes me look better but I usually dont wear it because I feel that if someone doesnt like looking at me that they dont have to look.

I know what you mean about smearing it. I do the same with my eyeliner. I rub my eyes too often. And I like your attitude about "if someone doesn't like looking at me that they don't have to look."

Not very often. I do like make up and love wearing it but usually I just skip it and walk around looking like my normal scary self daily :) I do feel better when I have it on (I'm sure others feel better when I have it on too! lol)

I sometimes wear make-up at home, but not often. It depends on if I'm going anywhere or not. I love make-up though. I used to be a Cosmetologist and make-up was a huge part of that career. I love it and think it's so much fun to play around with different colors and styles. I sell Mary Kay but I don't really wear that much of Mary Kay...sshhhhh..don't tell.:P They have good products, but I just wear my old faithfuls. I usually wear concealer, light foundation, mascara, and something on my lips. If I'm going out somewhere or to work, I wear eye shadow and a blush.

I came across Mary Kay products a few times. I agree with you that they have good products, but the prices are higher than Avon. Your secret is save with me.

I too dont put on make up at home. waste of time and money. People at home love you for what you are. I dont look a mess, but no make up. I put on only lipstick and a little powder. I loved putting on eyeliner, but now because I cant see without specks, the eyeliner goes.

Specks is glasses, right? If it's then why does eyeliner has to go? I do have to wear glasses too, sometimes contact lenses, but I wouldn't give up my eyeliner. Maybe when my hands are too shaky to hold the pencil then, I will give it up...LOL

Hi, no also dont wear make up at home, as i prefer to remain without it, most of the time, as i think we should let our skin breathe freely. Yes, whenever i go out, i do wear a liner, kajal and lipstck, thats about all. It does brighten up your day and makes you look good too. But as i have to go out daily, its a routine with me to wear a light make up daily. I dont like to put anything else other than these three things. Yes, if there is any party etc, then a little more of make up is required. There are people who just dont use any make up at all, still they look good, so it all depends from person to person and their personal preferences too. But when i am home, or i return from work, i have a good wash and clean my face well, off any dust and make up etc, and let the skin just breathe free in the fresh air.

You are right, the majority of people, I mean normal, every day people, don't wear make-up. They are still good looking, and the natural beauty is much better any time.

Hi Icycucky, for me goes the same, on days that I dont have to go out I do not use make-up. Only if someone comes along and I know that beforehand than I do put make up on. On such days I usually give my face a mask and have a nice and relaxing day

What do you use for face mask? I didn't think of that. I just had bad experiences with masks. It irritates my skin.

I rarely wear make up because its just too much hassle. Not when I'm at home, not when I'm at work, not when I go out with my friends. There are occassions you can't do without make up. But luckily for me, I have very few of those.

No make-up for me at home, not even when I go out. I just use a little moisturizer on my face all day. Occasionally I will put some face powder when I feel my face is becoming oily.

No, if I am not going out, I won't put on makeup for sure because I would love to rest my skin from all these chemicals and stuff. And if I am at home, I would tend to give myself some facial treats instead, they make my skin better and eventually the makeup during the week would look better too!

I told my girl about the chemicals in make-up and won't let her wear it often. What kind of treatment do you give your face? It sounds interesting.

That's about all i wear is eye-liner, lipstick, and lipliner. I got a mascara to try out from one of the survey companies i belong to so I wore that a couple days, but other than that I'm not much for makeup. Especially if I'm at home, unless I want to look good for my boyfriend on a certain day or just feel like dressing up with makeup.

Oh mascara and I don't agree with each other. I always ended up looking like someone had just punched me in the eyes, if I ever wear mascara.

It is not routine but I do wear make-up at home sometimes. especially when I am getting bored or want to try experimenting with new shades and styles. I always apply light shadow lipstik and eye liner.

I tend to wear it if I know I am going to be going somewhere where there will be lots of people. Sometimes if I am home I'll get the urge to put it on but other than that i don't have it on while I am home. It usually consists of eye liner, eye shadow sometimes, mascara, and lip gloss.

It's natural to get dressed up if we're going out. That's when we get to play Cinderalla, I guess. It's all fun. Thank you for responding.

I seldom wear make up because it does harm to our face. I just wear some anti-sun cream at SPF30 PA+++.
