Ok everyone, I am taking Spanish in college and it seems to be harder than I thought it would be. Does anyone speak the language and what tips can you offer to help me learn it? I have trouble deciding whether to use formal or informal speech. Help please!

try to learn italian lang, 'cause it's very close to spanish. I'm sorry i can't speak spanish or italian, but i know that. Our family has a perfect italian guy and he tell me every time when we meet.
But if you want to learn hungarian - i think more harder than spanish - i can help you, that's my language :)

Oh I dion't speak Spanish but I am learning Chinese lol..and I think the secret of learning a language is to learn to think in that language..I know this may sound strange but that is what I do, also listen to music and songs in the language of your choice..also maybe joining some meetup groups in your area..go to www.meetup.com and there may be a spanish language and culture group near you..so you get more practice.I hope this little bit helps..
