Use amazon, its easier, and you can get more money. Your thoughts?

Do you sell on amazon? Have you sold on e-bay? Specifically books? I have tried e-bay and haven't been successful. I have a ton of books to unload. Do you know how much it costs to list on amazon and then what you pay when your item sells?

Amazon fees are only if you sell. They give you shipping credit, 4 dollars, 7, or 13, depending on the buyer, to cover shipping. The commision and shipping usually about cancel out when you do 4 dollar shipping.

I use half.com, myself. I like the set up for selling books, cds and movies. I haven't tried amazon yet. I might give it a whirl sometime. But for now, I'm happy with half.com for "media" and ebay for everything else.

I haven't sold anything on either site but I am looking to start doing that. Thanks for the heads up, I will experiment with this by posting books on both ebay and amazon.
