Whats the highest earnings you have earned through ebay?

So many of us have tried the ebay thing here or there. I am a powerseller who makes about $2000/month in sales which allows me to be a stay at home mom. I sell estate jewelry. I am always hearing so much bad about ebay but I am looking for the success stories!
What was the most you have ever made in one month with ebay and what do you sell?
My highest month was $3,000 and my lowest month(when I started out) was negative $40...lol I was learning to ropes I guess.

That's how I started out..by selling stuff around the hosue I didn't want anymore. I actually began with my childrens clothes that were still in good shape but just didn't fit anymore. Then I wasn't out so much money buying stuff to sell and I was able to learn the ropes without fear of losing too much! Thanks for the comment! Wow, you are doing great. I have only auction stuff now and again. The most I made from doing that was $90.00. It was on an item I purchase at thrift store for $8.95 so I did really well. I just recently venture into owning a store, even after I heard horror stories. I am finding it is taking some time to set up. I am hoping and praying this store is successful.

I dont sell but a friend of mine does she sold 6000 in a month and was all disney stuff, she deals with disney collectables and stuff from the resorts. but she too is a powerseller

What a wonderful success! I have tried ebay but I guess I had no luck at all and I didn't keep on trying. I am glad to hear some successful story here because I am thinking about selling there again. But I am not really sure if it's a wise idea. What would be your tips to success on ebay?

Thanks! It took alot of practice though. Honestly, I would read everything you can in ebays discussion boards. I read everything I could in there and I learned so much and so many tips from other sellers - stuff that would have probably taken me 10 years to discover on my own. Thanks for the comment!!!
