Do any of you have any particular "system" for posts, reading, responses, ratiing on myLot? I mean, do you pick an interest and stay there for awhile and then go to another interest or do you go through all your friends and check out their posts and responses or is it all kind of random and haphazard? I think I'm probably wasting some time because I'll be doing something then I'll get sidetracked by an e-mail that a friend has started a new discussion or there's been a new response to one of my posts. I like to get the e-mail notifications so I don't overlook something but I just wondered if there's some nice "organized" way to making the most of myLot.

I usually log in and check if i have any new requests for friends or any new messages. Then I check if anybody responded to my discussion. If yes, first I reply to them. Then, after doing that, I go to the discussions and check what interests me. If I find anything interesting then I reply to that discussion. The number of discussions are not decided. If I have anything to share with others, then I start the discussion. What I feel that I can share with others, I put it on mylot. Then, I check for sometime for something interesting and then reply and later I log out. This is my usual system while working with mylot. I think this is fine.

My 'system' seems organised to me, but I know that it's really not..
I normally check responses to my discussions when I first sign in, and keep a tab (I use firefox) with this in it, to refresh every few minutes, as I have turned email notifications off.
I also have tabs of the more popular discussions in my interests open, and I search through them for interesting content & then I post replies.
I'm almost always too busy to look through discussions that my friends have started, I usually get sick of being online by the time I remember.
=P
I do have a system of sorts, though, and it works fine for me =D

I search for discussions that are interesting. Some of them I just can't answer because I just don't have an answer. Those I will only read.
Other discussions are interesting and I can answer. I try to answer those and I look at the bottom of the page to see if another discussion with similar subject is as interesting as the original one.
I take a look at my friends discussions, and new user discussions too.

My habit is login ,then find if there are any reply on the discussion Iv started .If have replies ,I first reply them.
Else to look over the thread my friend started, then answer some of that which I am interested in.
If I have any free time ,I will have a look at the top discussions .
At last ,logout my account.

I really appreciate all the tips and responses I've gotten from all of you so far. I hope you all become my friends here on myLot! This is such a fun place to be that I have a hard time sticking to a plan or system. One thing quite a few of you include in your routine is that you logout...I don't bother to do that, I just keep coming back over and over so it doesn't seem necessary. Thanks again, and keep your comments coming Guys!

I have both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
1. I post regularly between 50 to 75 responses a day
2. I post 25 discussion topics a week
3. I answer all the emails pertaining to mylot
4. I try my level best to bring in referrals.
Second part:
1. I answer most of the discussion topics of my friends. If they do not reciprocate, I delete them from my friend's list.
2. I post responses to most of the topics of new members.
These are the few principles I follow while I am at mylot.

I now observe these things lately, someitmes I also bookmark the particualr page so I won't have a hard time searching and memorizing what post it was. I also make sure that when I log out, my number of post are "EVEN" numbers. I don't know, but I guess I just love balance and equal!;)

Hi there. The system I use is quiet simple... I sign in, check out the interests and go through the lot, when Im done there, I go and check out the new discussions, then the new user discussions and so on... I check my email and try to respond back to responses I get from my own discussions started... I quiet like the system I use and I think its organised too...
