Toy Recall

Has anyone lately heard of a class action suit against mattell about all these toy recalls. I had very many of the toys already recalled. If this keeps going my children will not have any toys left in their room. What as Americans are we doing about CHINA sending all these toys that are not up to standards? I say we need several lawsuits not only against the Consumer safety board but also all the manufacturers that sold these products. What are we going to do about this?

I know this is a frightening situation. Recently my first granddaughter was born. I was shopping at Toys'r'us and noticed most of the toys clothes and baby bibs were made in China. I managed to get some clothes made in India and Pakistan. Then I went to Sears to get some teething toys. All made in China. I spent the afternoon going from place to place to find a teething toy made in France, but it was $24.00. Then I wanted a present for my little grand niece. Again I went from from store to store until I found a neat toy made in Connecticut, but it was $32.00 for just a simple wooden puzzle. I simply cannot afford to pay these prices but my family just refuses to give their kids anything made in China right now. Case in point were the baby bibs that I almost bought, later I read they were recalled because the plastic liners contained lead paint. I don't know what the solution is but the toy distributers should make sure the toys are manufactured to standard and the Consumer Safety Boards should do a better job. I sympathize with you. My own granddaughter has hardly any toys because her parents removed all the Made in China things, so there is hardly anything left. So sad.
