I think that we should put enough time and money into
conserving endangered species of our animal friends
especially the critically endangered ones.I am sure
that there are people who would love to have seen a
live Dodo.In my country, South Africa, we had two beautiful animals which became extinct during the
19th century, these were the Cape lion and an animal
called the Quagga which looked a lot like a Zebra. The
Cape lion was one of the most beautiful of animals
in the cat family. If these beautiful animals were still alive today we and the rest of the world would be the richer for it.Let us not have to say one day
"how wonderful it would have been had we saved the Bengal Tiger, the White Rhino and the African leopard from extinction"In the future little children should not have to point at a picture and ask "What sort of animal is that Mummy, where does it live?" and Mummy should not have to say that it no longer lives. Welcome jungle_girl!!!!it is good to have you in this camp.!!!!!LOL!!!!

Great response Jungle! I almost went to UCT, but the scholarship didn't pan out.
It can be done, we can delist animals from the RedList. It really just takes time and commitment. Look at the Bald Eagle, Eurasian Kestral and Peregrine Falcons. These species used to be on the brink of extinction, but now they thrive in good numbers.
Thanks for the welcome JUNGLE!

Yes I believe it is, endangered species are worth the effort. I'd like to see them alive and revived in numbers because it'll be sad if they become extinct. Then we can only see them in books and documentary plus younger generations won't be able to see them alive for real.

True eprado. It will be a great shame if we can only seem them in books and documentaries. I want my children to see them in the wild or at least in zoos too.
