Just yesterday I introduced "Ice Age 2" to my Son, who is only 2 years old.
He loved it so much, he wanted to see it again straight away, when it was finished.
Is there too much frightening things in it for such a toddler?

My son is two as well and he loves ice age 2. He has always been able to sit through it even by himself. there are some cartoons where he can't for example, Finding Nemo is too frightening for him, Over the Hedge we have to skip the first bear scene. Other great movies he loves are Cars, Winnie the Pooh (2007), Tom Thumb (the super old version, actors not animation), Babes in Toyland (also the super old version) and he can even watch stuff like the Electric Company. It's so interesting to see how his tastes change from time to time, he's already outgrown Elmo

I'm glad to hear, I'm not the only one to think it alright to let my two year old
see that movie.
I to have had problems with Finding Nemo. I guess those Sharks are just a bit too
scary at his age.
Thanks for the advice on the other movies, guess I'll have to try showing him Cars
soon.

Hi there. I think Ice Age 2 is just appropriate for a child to watch it. I mean, there's no violence in it. It is even somewhat informative.. about how life before humans started.. :) and the breaking of ice. I think you don't have to worry on how it will affect your child because it just a cartoon movie.. Nothing to be frightened. But as a parent, you should always be alert about what movies or shows your child watches because in some way, he may follow what he sees on tv in real life.. Especially those violent movies.. best of luck! take care !
