Today I just have read something funny. The first one is: was it a bar or a bat I saw. It is the same if you read from the beginning of the end.
The second is: I think that that that that that student wrote was wrong. It takes me much time to understand it. What about you?
And if you have something like this, tell me please. Thanks.

I really don't understand what you are trying to discuss. I also did not understand what happened if somebody made a clarification about bar and bat.......as here can be a spelling mistake of r and t........ and I definately did not undestand why the word "that" is repeated so many time........If your first discussion is so complicated, I wonder what will be next..... welcome to mylot.....if you need any suggestions do write to us.........have a nice day

Eh, thanks very much for your suggestion and I'm sorry for my poor English. The first "that" is a conjunction, followed a objective clause. The second and the fifth are de donatation pronoun. The third one is equal to a noun. And the forth is a relative pronoun, followed attributive clause. If I have made some mistakes, do tell me. Thank you. I do want to improve my English. Olympics will be held in my country next year.

I am interested in analysing the second sentence:
I think that that that that that student wrote was wrong. Now here it goes:
the first "that" is a conjunction, which is used to bridge an object clause.
the second "that" is a demonstrative pronoun, used to modify the third "that" followed by. Or it is an attribute to modify the one after it.
the third "that" is an antecedent that is modified by the fourth "that".
the fourth "that" is a relative pronoun which introduces an attributive clause.
the fifth "that" is a demonstrative pronoun used as an attribute to modify "student".
The purpose of this sentence aims at how well you can understand so many thats here. Hope that I have made the English sense to you, Odille. Happy learning, friend.

I love palindromes, too! "Rise to vote, sir!", "A man, a plan, a canal; Panama!" "Able was I ere I saw Elba", "Sit on a potato pan, Otis", let's see...I used to have a little book of them. Where is that book? Must find it! So, you will be spared from further torture until I find that book! LOL!
