I go to the library a lot. I have started using the hold feature a bunch, reserving books that interest me through their website and then picking them up when they're ready. I still like to browse the shelves sometimes but by using the holds I can make sure I will (eventually) get books that interest me. There's one book I put a hold on that had 96 people in line ahead of me. While it will take a while for me to get it, it's still better than hit or miss trying to find it when I visit.
I always sign up my son for the summer program. He is a big reader too and considers it a great treat to go to the library and get new books to read.

I seldom go to the school library unless I have to borrow some books for referance. The most-frequently books I use are my English dictionary and my teachers' book. If I have to train my students for a speech competition, I go to either the library or the foreign language bookshop in Hangzhou to get some so that I have some proper books or materials to help train them.

My son goes to the library almost every day during this summer vacation. He borrows a lot of novels to read. We are worried about his eyesight and asked him not to borrow books to read so frequently. Now he is having a rest from reading novels.

I go to the library atleast once a week. I usually borrow two or three books at a time. I love to read and cant afford to buy new books every week. Right now I am reading all of the books by James Patterson. My daughter did the summer reading program at our library. It was alot of fun. They had a karoke night, popcorn party, square dancing and other activities besides just reading. She really enjoyed it.

When I was still going to school, the library was my favorite hang-out place. With a sandwich and coffee, it's the most complete place for me. I miss the university library terribly.
Libraries in my country aren'that popular. It's not even part of the budget of the local government to fund one.
That's why if I wanted to read or look for books, I have to hang out in the bookstore.
Thank God for the enterprising booklovers. The bookstore-cafe is one of the popular hang-outs for the likes of me here in the city.

Yes I do. Mostly to get books for my nieces and nephews, as I have enough reading material to occupy my spare time with the monthly subscription to National Geographic, and the occasional daily newspaper I buy!
I think it's excellent that you take your daughter to the library so often! I wish my sisters would take their kids ...or I wish I could take them! Unfortunately free time is not really a thing I have a lot of these days. I took them once but not all of them, and haven't had a chance to go back with any of them since that time.

Wow thats great. I love going to the library because its one of those time that I can have a nice time finishing a book I read. But eversince I had a baby, I had lesser time going to the library like just once a month and that is only to borrow a book or do some research.

Library is the best place for any activity. Its so serene and i love to read books sitting in the library. I usually visit libraries that have variety of books than those having only the minimum collection to call itself a library. The best part is the silence in the library. We can have a peaceful mind and do our job without any disturbance.

When the kids are in school I practically live at the library. I've been known to go 4 or 5 times a week. I've always loved libraries. The least I will go is once a week. We take out books, magazines, DVDs, videos. I'm always requesting items from other libraries. They all know me there. Most of the time they don't even bother calling me to tell me that an item I requested is in because I'm there so often. I should just get a job there...LOL.
