Last August 6, we visited Tagaytay Highlands with my friends in college. We have visited the place last two years ago when we were celebrating our birthdays together. Now, with cash on hand and some of us has work, we manage to save up and had an overnight accomodation in one of the accomodations in Tagaytay Highlands. First timers might be surprised with the place since you will be thinking "Do they really have this place in the Philippines?"
As for me, Ive been there sooo many times and still I eould never get tired of this place. If only I have enough money to have myself be a member.
We checked in, ride the funicular train, sadly the cable car is temporarily closed, we swam at the Camp Highlands pool, had a bonfire, ate dinner at a psoh restaurant, played billiards and bowling. It was a blast!
You might be interested in visiting the place. www.tagaytayhighlands.com
And by the way, one can not enter the exclusive place if youre not a member, as for me, I have this friend who works as a General Manager there thats why I get to have passes all the time. =)

Yup, I've been there a number of times. It's a nice place and has a lot of amenities but it's rather old such that there are nicer places in the Philippines now. Have they renovated yet? I'd like to compare it with canyon woods and the Pearl Farm in Davao. The PF is actually world class and the resort is old but has been well maintained. Although it lacks the amenities which the Highlands has but this resort has a pristine beach which is good for all sorts - wading, snorkelling and even diving. Have you been there?
