We are in a state of ultimate technology and graphics in gaming. All 3d games are so famous for their excellent graphics and realistic pleasure of playing. But before we started all this, we were playing small dos games didnt we? So did you ever get back to those small dos games again? did you enjoy playing it after a long time? Or do like to play them even now?
And does anybody feel the urge to try dos games after reading this post??

Surajpkn, I never attempted to play DOS games anymore. I agree that they were the ancestors of all present software games but who would ever want to play them again compared to the present software gaems that are faster and had better graphics.

I have played a few DOS games again, a little while ago I seemed to spend most of my time playing DOS games again. At the moment I am more hooked on the Sims 2 but I must say there really were some good DOS games and I may still go back and play them sometime. I got quite frustrated with some Commodore 64 games that I used to enjoy though because the emulator that I downloaded did not seem to work for some of them (or they didn't work on the emulator?) I would love to play those again.

as a matter of fact i liked dos games but more like c64 games. i have an old-old c64 computer and usually 1-2 times a week i play some old games.
but yes, i like to play dos games and i know what you think, one of my favourite games is the Monkey Island - the first 3 part was in 2d and the 4th came out in 3d but i really loved the first 3 more than the 4th.
And there's another game I dont know do you know: conquest of the new world
it's a strategic game where you play Colombus, in his view: because he don't know what's exactly the new world's face, rivers, etc. the program generate map randomely every time you start a new tournament. it's FANTASTIC and you can choose which country do you want to control, want to be independent from mother country, etc... i think that's one of the best game from strategic games I've ever seen!
