I carry a large shoulder bag that fits over me so my hands are free. The only time I carry a smaller bag is when I am wearing a formal dress.

For a night on the town, I don't need all the things I need for regular days.

I think I prefer a hand bag. I hardly ever use a clutch. I know that wearing a purse on your shoulder is bad for our backs and necks, but sometimes it just can't be helped. But overall, I think a hand bag.

I prefer handbags, but I carry them on my shoulder. Lol. I don't know but lately I've been into REALLY huge bags, I can't get enough! I just love the feeling of dumping all my stuff in there and knowing that every single thing I need is in my bag with me. Haha!

I'm like you, in the sense I prefer not to have to carry a bag around with me, the whole time - knowing me, I'd probably end up leaving it on the bus, or dropping it, or something. I like having a bag on my shoulder, I just don't like it when it keeps slipping down, and you have to keep hoisting it back up. That gets on my last nerve, I'm afraid.

i like all bags.. but i usually go for shoulder bags because they're easier to carry around everyday. if i'm going somewhere special though i'll go for one of my smaller handbags. i don't own a clutch though. i like bags better if they have some sort of strap on them.

I prefer a shoulder bag...then I can carry everything that I or anyone that I am near would possibly need. Also I can carry my complete manicure kit, a scissors to cut up my hefty folder full of coupons, my makeup in case I get caught in the rain, combs for my hair, kleenex just in case I get a cold, all of my checkbooks, a tupperware container for my flavored coffeemate, credit cards and identification that I would need to go overseas or out of the country...just in case I go someday...lots of sales slips, my hand wipes in case I get dirt on my hands, mosquito lotion in case of bugs, a map just in case I get lost and a magnifying glass in case I want to look at something small...and anything that I can think of that I absolutely need to go anywhere. I am kidding but it seems as though I take along way too much stuff...so a clutch purse wouldn't hold enough stuff. I make sure that I change my purse from one shoulder to the other so I don't get lopsided. Haha.

I like fashionable shoulder bags, sometimes I'll carry a clutch.
