Which character is your favorite in this series?

Mine has to be Mr. Humphries and Ms. Slocombe. The pair of them together made the show hilarious because they worked so well with each other. I couldn't imagine anyone better to portray these characters.

Thanks for the response candygirl! I totally agree with you there. Mrs. Slocombe and Mr. Humphries both carried the series I think. Although the rest of the characters were funny in their own ways, like the guy with the glasses who always mix things up when people are telling him things lol. I just watch an episode like 4 days ago and I already forgot the guy's name lol. He's the one everyone always makes fun of his ears.

You're right, his name is Mr. Rumbold. I was trying really hard to remember that name, but after that one post above, I forgot all about trying to think of the name lol!

Mr Humphries is my favorite and I'm so glad you asked this question about "Are You Being Served?" because it is one of my all time favorite programs. I loved Mr. Lucas as well as he was a riot and Mr. Harmond as well. All the other characters were great as well as they played off each other. It wouldn't be a show without the multi-talented Mrs. Slocombe either. Thanks for asking. So sorry to say that since the 70's when the brit-com originally aired, most of the actors have passed away, but sometimesI still watch. A really fun comedy program. It's good to know others share this kind of humor with me.

Thanks for replying to my message! I decided to try and come up with topics for this show yesterday, since this program didn't have any topics yet. I wanted to make sure that those of us who likes this show were able to participate in discussions about it. There is only 13-14 people who has this show under their "Interests" list, but that's a pretty good start. I figure that more would like this show if they saw some topics on it and took a chance to watch an episode or two lol.
