Do you feel it is dangerous to buy something on eBay?

I feel it is very safe to buy and sell onebay. Somethings are better to get at a store though like clothes and shoes. Just because you can try them on before buying them. As for getting a phone it is probably cheaper through ebay then the mall and just as good.

the big problem is you don't know if it is a counterfeit.They can always mix the false with the genuine.something only have a tiny diffrent.

Honestly I have bought many things off of ebay andhave never had a problem. I truly think it is the best way to get decent things at lower prices. I have also sold many things on ebay and it was all wonderfull experiences.

I buy from ebay all the time.Mostly action figures. At one time my husband was buying video games. And we had one problem.But that got resolved.I wont buy electronics I don't trust that one. And the cost to ship the item. You're better off to buy at a local store. i hope that the cell phone works out for you.

Nah, ebay sellers really care about their reputation and it's really hard for someone to be scammed by an ebay seller, besides, you are protected by paypal. I buy all sort of things on ebay, almost everyday, so i can guarantee, it's safe, even safer than buying in real person, lol. I dont feel dangerous to purchase something on e-bay because after we buy an item from e-bay its their responsiblity to contact the seller and sent our purchased item straight to us.But if a seller cheats you and does not send your item you can contact e-bay staff or start dispute against that very seller on e-bay.E-bay strictly contacts the seller to send your purchased item and if then also that seller does not send you your purchased item they have the full details about that seller which they take during the time of registration at e-bay.I am not sure but they can also cut down the fees from their credit card if they verify their e-bay account with credit card.

well i have bought jewellry on ebay and have had no problem, but if you buy something electronic, i would be careful...i have heard on mylot about someone even buying movies and they had problems...
