In just a few short weeks, people from all over the United States will be getting together in cities around the country for the annual Memory Walk to help raise funds for research to fight Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's is a particular nasty affliction, robbing its sufferers of their lives and their selves. In North Texas alone, there are over 45,000 individuals that suffer from this disease, and they need our help. I signed up this morning to do my part here in Dallas on November 3, 2007. I will be walking with hundreds of other Dallas area residents to help raise funds for this worthy cause. More help is needed, however. To find out what you can do to help eradicate alzheimer's in our lifetime, please visit my blog post on the subject at http://badpennyweb.blogspot.com/2007/08/you-can-help-eradicate-altzheimers.html
