The actress that portray's Ashley, Eileen Davis, was fired from Y&R a few months ago due to budget cuts. Ashley's character left Y&R because she could not live with the lie that Jack owns Jabot. Jack asked her to leave town if she couldn't live with the lie and be silent and she went out of town to head up a new Jabot project in Europe. The good news Bold and the Beautiful hired Eileen after she was fired so the character of Ashley is now on Bold & the Beautiful. Ashley is currently involved with in a serious romance with Ridge and Abby is on B&B too.

Thanks for clearing that up! I'm pretty sad that she got canned from Y & R-I've always thought she was one of the better actresses on the show (and I've been watching most of the time since it first came on back in the 70's!).

I believe that she is still on Bold and Beautiful. She left Y&R to go to France and then ended up on B&B. I think she is a couple with Ridge right now on there but as usual Brooke will interfere with that. Ridge and Brooke deserve to be together and the writers need to realize that they should put them together and leave them.

Ashley went to the Bold & the Beautiful and she is on there full time now. She first took her child and left Geona City to go to France to work, seems the story goes that she did not like it there and went to Los Angeles and accepted a job with Forrester Creations or whatever they are calling themselves now. Seems Stephanie on B&B wants Ashley to be with Ridge on B&B so I don't think there any designs on her leaving the show anytime soon. But what I heard about her stint with Y&R was she was let go of her contract, she did not quit.
