I personally don't like much the ending because, Lupin and Tonks died after giving birth to their newly born son (both of them should be happy considering Lupin's situation being a werewolf) George died (or was it Fred? I sorta forgot) nah, they're the life of the Harry Potter book, they are both full of life and soo vibrant and happy, I don't also like the way J.K. Rowling miss out the important information on what has become of Harry, Ron and Hermione. It's so lame that she didn't explain what their jobs had been, what happened to Malfoy, though things may seem understandable, still, its always nice to provide detailed information especially since its an ENDING. All questions should be answered. The book left me bothered though but I have to admit that like the other books, it's thrilling all the same. I just don't like the way Rowling put gaps and missing information at the ending.

The ending before the epiloue was pretty cool. I think it would probably take up another book if they wrote the epilouge. Still kind of sad it's over though.

I totally agree with you! The ending before the epiloue was good. All of them married was kind of werid. Just didn't seem to fit right. It could've been like couple years later or whatever. Anyways I was kind of sad that it was over too. Not the movie fan so that doesn't really concern me. Good story!

It was cool, wasn't it? I also thought the epilogue was strange, but I liked it nonetheless. The athmosphere was a bit like in the first book and I had the impression that she was trying to close a circle, make everything kind of 'whole'. I liked that, though critics (over hear at least) brandished it as kitsch. I also like not knowing everything at all - probably there is nothing as 'everything'. You could always want more details and Rowling could always create more.

I heard that JK Rowling intends to do an encyclopedia of all things Harry Potter down the road, and I would look forward to reading this. There is no way that every question could be answered without having a 2,000 page book in my opinion. I think she did a good job. I have read it either 4 or 5 times so far and I have loved it. The deaths were sad, but it was a war situation after all. I am only disappointed that the series has ended.

if there's such thing then i'd love to read that encyclopedia and add that to my hpotter collections weeeeeeeeee..can't wait.at least she won't be leaving readers hanging with many questions on what happened to some of the characters. =)
but u have a good point about war though and that its natural that in wars, somebody is bound to die.whether we like it or not...make sense =)

I think the ending of Harry Potter 7 isn't very bad.If the justice overcome the epiloue,it must pay out the cost of hemo.If there was no people dying, the end would not be true.Although it's a little pity,we should accept the ending.

yup yup i do agree though. its up to the author on what they want the ending of the story is. be it tragic or "they live happily ever after" or a combination of both. and since were not the author, we've left with no choice but to simply shake our head and accept it and get over it =)
