How Long Have You Been Watching?

As I made that last post, I caught myself wondering-how long has everyone been watching Y & R? I got hooked as a kid when it first came on with my best friend Jennie. We used to watch it togehter every afternoon. I actually REMEMBER when Nikki was a stripper and Victor and Ashley were an item, when Paul's sister Tracy shot Jack and all that jazz.
How about you?? Or am I just a hopeless old so-and-so?

I remember all of that and more. I remember when Jill was young and was helping at the Chancelers estate and playing around with Mr. Chanceler. I remember when her first baby Philip was born. I also remember Jills brother Snapper, David Hasselheph played his character. I remember Y&R before the Abbots, Victor and Nicki. I even remember when Pauls daughter Heather was born, she has just reappeared on the show. She doesn't know he is her daddy. Y&R is my all time favorite soap.

Oh, wow! And I htought I was the only one LOL! Nice to meet a fellow old-timer. I will admit to missing a few years here and there when I was in college back in the 70's, and again in the mid 80's when I was working full time out of the house, but I'm a bit amazed at how consistent the story lines have stayed all these years, and the way the writers can take things that happened 30 years ago and weave them into the story today.
What ever happened to Danny Romilotti (or however you spell it) senior?? That was one thing I completely missed somewhere along the line.

Danny left town with Daniel when he was a baby. He took custody away from Phillis. Also did you know that Daniel turned out not to be Danny's biological son, he still raised him as his own though. Danny used to be married to Chris(Cricket)(she isn't on the show right now, she has been visiting B&B)-she is an attorney. Danny also was married to Phillis. I also missed some years here and there, I tried to keep up with what was going on with everyone.
