I am a Christian but I struggle with fearing death. I don't really understand why I fear death but at times it almost keeps me awake at night. Do other Christians fear death? What helps to rid a believer of this fear? I know that some Christians look forward to death and I understand that. But I still having this dang naggin' fear!!

It is normal to be afraid of the unknown, even as a Christian. It's not that it means you are secretly scared you are going to hell, you just have a natural reluctance to give up control of your life at the end of your days and go into a world that is wonderful, but sketchy. Heaven is a wonderful place, but rarely appealing to the young or active. And that's good. It means you want to live. But it's also comforting that your life will extend, if not on this earth, in a land far better.

I also think of that at the end of the day. I got to thinking will i be still alive yesterday, and if i die today, where will i go. Can i remember what is my life before. That are the question that sticking to my brain. so i cherished everyday of my life, i treat my life today as it is my last, but sometimes i forgot to do that. I have fear of leaving my loved ones without saying goodbye, and i am pretty sure they can't accept that.
