I find Simon Cowell to be the most honest and entertaining, he usually says the 100% truth and doesn't let them down gently either. I definately wouldn't want to be a contestant facing Mr. Cowell, but he's fun to listen to when you're not the one being critiqued.

Simon, I think is the best judge. He might not have the best personality, but he knows his stuff.

i believe that Simon is the best judge. He may be harsh / rude but he definitely knows what he's talking about. He may be rude in delivering his words but contestants should rather see those words as a challenge to them so that they wil be able to become a better singer.

I think it's Simon Cowell. He's very objective in giving his comments and criticisms. He really knows his job. Others may not like his way of criticizing the contestant but if you take it from a constructive point of view, it can really help those who dreams of being a singer.

Simon is by far the best judge. People need to know the truth sometimes and thats what he gives them. How can anyone ever improve with an attitude like Paula, with everyone is either cute, special, or some other too kind word. However, I do think Paula, Simon and Randy are all getting paid big to be themselves. It makes for better tv.

Jewel is not a judge on American Idol. The judges are Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell. :-) Simon is definitely the best judge of the three of them as he knows what he is talking about and knows who can sing and who can not sing. The other two are kiss ups. Randy is better than Paula.

I think Simon makes them work harder to try and win his approval. He is very hard and sometimes rude, but they all get excited if he likes their performance.
