Thank you for your positive response. I'm afraid I get bored answering questions all day when there's no real meat in them.

Thank you for your response. Hopefully the new format of mylot will help weed out the trash discussions. There are enough junk sites out their for people to play around on. I'm hoping for more quality discussions here.

I think people post what they made to encourge other mylotees. By posting they are letting the people who just first started know that it is possible to make some extra cash here. I think if you don't like to participate in these types of discussions, then that's your right not to repsond to them.

Thank you for your opinion. I have had discussions with a lot of people on this site who are tired of wading through all of these junk posts to try and find real discussions to participate in.

I couldn't agree with you more. There are way too many posts that have no real value but only serve to waste time and hard disk space on the myLot servers. How many times can one bear seeing questions like: "What time is it right now in your time zone?" or "What is your favorite color?" or "Are you male or female?" My goodness! It's insane. But the funny thing is that these types of questions elicit the most responses; so, I guess I see the monetary incentive here to post discussion topics like these...uhhhhgggg! Let's put a stop to it, everyone. Don't respond to these useless trivialities.

I'm in total agreement with you. If we all start boycotting those discussions, then maybe people will quit posting them. I get so bored reading the same questions over and over, and it's hard to keep track of which ones I've answered and which I haven't. Yet there are a lot of really good discussions out there in la la land that never get any responses. Thanks for your great response!

You're welcome. I have a number of topics that are waiting for responses. (hint, hint ;-) ) Well, only respond to them if you see anything that interests you, of course.

Yes, we all need to work together and not give any credence to that kind of post. It's already gotten much better here on mylot than it was when I first started. Too many newbies start posting the same old topics without even knowing what they're doing.

Exactly, we need to work together to put a stop to this madness.

I really don't care how much money I make on myLot. I love the site and the discussions. August I got a deposit in my paypal, September, I was short $1 of getting paid. October I am getting a deposit which includes September and October amounts. They carried over the balance. The money isn't much, it's pocket change to me, but the discussions are worth so much to see how others feel about the different topics and situations in the world.

Yes, the opportunity to learn is definitely part of mylot's charm. That's why I resent having to plow through so many junk posts to get to the good ones. Thanks for your response!

But don't you think that more members will burn out quickly if there's nothing interesting to discuss? I've been here almost 3 weeks, and I find myself getting bored. Thanks for answering.

I agree. The benefits of learning from all the people of different cultures on mylot far outweighs the little bit we get for posting. Although I must admit I like the cash, too.

We all do, and I'm happy we all have an opportunity to earn a little money. However, we can do it just as well with interesting topics instead of the deadend topics that generate only deadend answers.

I'm not always sure some of these people are telling the truth. I feel that some of them might be sensationalists trying to get responses. If they are making that much, more power to them. I do the best I can and am happy with that.

Whenever I refer someone to this site I tell them that they won't get rich here, but they'll get paid for doing something that most of them would happily do for free :-)

I'm glad others are able to find more people to refer. I think if I were younger it would be easier. mylot is a great way to earn a few bucks while having a good time.

At first i thought i would make money here, after seeing the topics i realized that it was a mistake. Some of the topics here are very childish and just stupid. I too put up some stupid ones to check the respones but got none. Now i browse till i find a good topic to discuss and then i post. This site can be a good informative site if users start putting up good topics. I really don't care about the money anymore. You have good topics and i like it.
