Are you happy when your first child is son?

hi i dont know why the people love their first child is son in your country, do you mean they prefer son to daughter or just like the first child is a son? here in our country people only allowed to have one child ,and they prefer to have son, especially in the rural area ,becouse people think that son can feed them when they are old. what s the reason for your country?

It is the same in China. The family will be very happy if the first child is a boy because of the one-child policy. I am happy that I have a son, but still I think that it is better to have two children, one boy and one girl. That will be perfect.
