The Mark Of The Wild Beast (666)

The bible book of Revelation, i have found to a no go area for most proffessed christain clergmen/women and their laity.
In same book the expression of the mark of the wild beast is stated as follows;
Revelation Chapter 13 vss 17&18 quote "and that nobody might be able to buy or sell, except a person having the name or the mark of the wild beast, or the number of its name.,18 Here is where wisdom comes in: let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man's number;and its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
How can one calculate the number of the wild beast?, what is the wild beast reffered to? How is one marked by it?

The book of Revelation, as a vision, is pretty open to interpretation. Many believe that in this day of technology, the mark is going to be a microchip of some kind, much like the ones used to locate missing pets. The beast is usually believed to refer to the Antichrist. And I don't think the number can be calculated, like the exact day of the second coming cannot be calculated, though many have tried.

I went to the webb site you recomended. Where one can do biblical search when you give the info in could find no joy on daniel or book of revelations. even with verses chapters all inclusive. What could I be Doing wrong???

Most of the commentators are of the opinion that the original readers would have understood 666 to refer it to Nero. So I would say that the beast referred to Rome and 666 referred to Nero.

Though Nero like and Rome like organisations, groups and individuals are likely part or whole of the wild beast and having its mark

The beast is not a wild animal, it will be someone who is possessed by satan to make a peace treaty with the Jews for a period of time, possibly 3.5 to 7 years. His name is the number of man - 666. The number 6 refers to when man was made on the 6th day of creation. Those who follow him will probably bear his mark, a number or someway of identifying that they belong to him. He will be someone of great charm and seemingly wise. He will have the answers to the world's problems. He will be accepted by the people of the world as their leader and he will have signs and wonders following him. He will be in control of the world's economy. Sooner than later watch out as i reveal the mark of the wild beast and what the wild beast stands for.And how you can benefit from been marked, or work to erase the mark, if you ahve already been marked.
