fires in greece my parents might have to evacuate!

My poor parents are having a really rough time in Southern Greece.They have built a beautiful home there and they phoned us very distressed this morning that they might have to evacuate thier home as it is getting dangerous and the fires all over the region are raging out of control.Some stupid prats are just causing all this chaos because of the elections..They caught one guy..he caused many deaths because of the arsen attacks he caused..for me this is equal to murder, on top oif destroying the environment it is taking lives..already the death toll has reached nearly fifty. The problem now with law and order in general is that they are too lenient with these idiots but are so strict with other swho hardly do anything wrong1
Please pray for my parents if you can..I am a bit worried.

I am sorry your parents are having to go through this! It stinks!
I hope they don't have to leave. I HATE having to evacuate! We have to deal with hurricanes. I have certain boxes marked to go and know where all my pic and important papers are. It makes it easier.
Our prayers go out to them and all the other people affected by those idiots. Keep good thoughts...:)

Be patient. I'm very sad about the wild fires there. It's a war zone in the TV! Have faith!

Oh my!I feel so bad for your parents.How horibble.They sould take these people that start such things and severly punish them.They shouid lock them in there house and burn it down.How sad.Keep us informed and yes I will say a prayer.And I am not just saying that I truly will.

That is one man who needs to be thrown into the same fire he caused, You wonder what kind of hearts some humans are made of-I wonder whether he feels sorry for his evil actions, no matter what he feels, he is a devil who must be placed into boiling oil, the right temperature for his kind of crime!

How are your parents now, are they safe at home?
Very sad to hear such event, and it raised great concern here in China. I read a report that hundreds of soldiers were dispatched to fight the fire. How could that be? Why not thousands of?
We had a very severe fire here in Northeastern China's Heilongjiang Province in 1979. Its reported the trucks were melted in tens of hundreds of meters distance. How terrible it was!
Just hope that everything is fine now there with the Greek.

Well they had rains resterday and the Govt is rounding every one up..I just arrived in NY and am with my Zhang Fu for three months!1

I am so sorry for what has happened to the area where your parents are living. I hope that the government will put the stupid prats to jail for them. May God bless your parents safe as always!

I just caught it in the news. The winds have subsided, & hopefully, the firefighters can get an upper hand on things. Gee, I cannot believe that a 65 yer old guy actually started another fire that went out of control. Anyway, I hope your family there is OK.

Sorry to hear about your parents. I hope and pray they are on a safe ground.
I just can't comprehend how people can do such things. What has gone to their mind? Surely, they must be influenced by the devil.
Please keep us posted about the safety of your parents.
I'm sure a lot of people here including me are/will be praying for your parents and eveyone who is affected by the fire.

so they caught the person who caused the fire? that's good news! I hope your parents residence is safe from the fire. I only heard there is fire but I don't know it has anything to do with elections.

If it was onbly one person that would be easy..there is a gang of them..and they have political motives to desdabalise the country but I don't know yet who or which organization is responsible yet..

I am really sory for your parents and hope they will be ok, safe and healthy. I watched news yesterday and saw the fire there.It 's really shame, because Greece is beautiful country and has great nature.I have been there for two times and will never forget nice time, I spent there.
I hope everything will get better soon.

There is such a lot to take in from your discussion that I don't know where to start with my reply - my thoughts all feel so inadequate. I did not realise the fires kept being started deliberately. Nor that your parents would be near enough to be concerned. I don't really do praying but I will be thinking of them so I hope that might help.

That is so horrible. I hope everything turns out ok. It's a shame that people find it interesting to start fires and ruin so many things. There are so many bad people on this earth, that don't care about anything, but themselves. I hope they find out who did it, and put them in prison for the rest of their useless lives.
