One of the popular street foods in the Philippines is the fried one-day old chick. Marinated prior to frying, one-day old chicks are newly-hatched chicks from poultry farms that are rejected for growing. Once fried, they are ready to eat and serves best when soaked in vinegar with onion, garlic and pepper.
Wanna try?

He he he :-) That sounds delicious! Actually it is good, I have eaten a fried one-day old chick. I see a lot of them vendors whenever I'm walking along downtown Manila. Even some fastfood stalls in malls now offers fried one day old chick along with balut, penoy.. etc..

You've also tasted it! And yes, even some fastfood stalls in malls offer them. I don't find any stupidity in eating such a delicacy. It makes no difference in eating a one-day chick and a forty-five day old chicken, right?

We have plenty of food. No need to eat that sort of thing. It sounds disgusting.
