i think frank lampard is beginning to shout the mouth of his critics by scoring four goals in 4 matches. he scored in chelsea match against reading, liverpool, egland vs germany and chelsea against portsmouth. he also scored a penalty against liverpool to show that he can still do that. he scored from outside the 18 yeards box in portmouth match to also show that he can still do that. up lampard, up chelsea.

Lampard is an excellent player playing for an excellent team. He Scores Goals and Create for his team mates.
He is not and has not ever been world class. I cant ever remember him playing a stormer in a big game but for consistency against inferior opposition he is an excellent player.

hey, he scored against barca in last season champions league. from a tight angle, a wonderful goal. go back to 2002, 03, 04, 2005. when he scored a volley in almost every match.

Its extremely great that Frank is finding form but the main problem is the fact that he's picked up a thigh strain and i think that that might just stop the momentum that he's got so far with his flying start to the season.
I mean looking at the performance at villa park without him, the midfield just lacks that central driving attacking force and essentially we were held at bay but a well organised defence, even though we may have good forwards like Drogba and Pizzaro, they need the driving runs of Frank Lampard to get them the service so that they can shoot and I think that the sooner he's back the better !
