i can't help to scratch it,and i must rub some cream or oil. so i hate summer in this way, it is too ugly when my legs or arms bited by a mosquito. once, a mosquito give me a kiss, then my mouth turned thick and big, when i went to school, all my classmates laugh me, they said i had a mouth of a pig. i felt very angry, then i bite him . hehe, now i recall it, i feel very funny. i cant avoid mosquito, so i have to rub some oil first.

I try to bite it back :) Just kidding, I generally scratch it. If there are too many mosquitoes then I do go and wash the area where they have bit me and apply a cream so that they do not come near me. Cheers! Ram

If I find a mosquito is standing on my skin I will let it stand still and I then kill it with my hand. If I got really bitten by a mosquito I will then wash the affected part with clean water so I won’t feel the itchy. Scratching would be harmful to the skin. Normally I don’t apply any scream as I dislike the pungent smell.

Antibiotics ...For Mosquito bites :)) LOl ,...sorry but that is ridiculous ..ask a Doc . Well to answer the question, Besides leaving the small swallowing alone , because it will go away on it's own, you can apply some lotions or something that can help not to feel the itching so much. If you don't have any lotion around you can dip your finger in a little bit of SALT and rub it on the skin. It helps to be a little wet on the finger. The salt takes away some of the itch as well. :)

When I arrived in St Lucia it was dusk and is soon got dark. All the mosquitoes came out and bit my legs badly. I scratched the bites and made them very sore and quite a bit worse. I have learned that it is best to put soothing cream on the mosquito bites. Try to use insect repellent and not get so many mosquito bites. Good luck.

I have very sensitive skin to mosquito bites. So every time I get a bite, I just leave it alone, putting ointments only if I have one. If the bite gets nasty and gets infected, I'll apply the next topical antibiotic I can find.
