Forget diets, forget low carbs, forget everything a diet tells you. Losing weight is a commitment in itself, why complicate matters with a strict regime and avoiding foods that are perfectly fine in moderation. Change your lifestyle, realise why you are fat, and the emotional triggers that lead you to binge. When I first started my first battle as cutting out food in between meals, it’s hard at first but afterwards it becomes a normal routine and something you don’t think about. Exercise, even if you think you look stupid, nobody is really watching you and if they are, so what? You‘re doing something to better your life. I walked into a swimming pool feeling like a beach whale, I walked out feeling like main character on Baywatch, maybe one day I'll walk out and actually be that main character. I’ve recently took up running at first I could hardly run and now I can run up to a mile, I’m about to expand it to run further. A walk/run regime is the way to go, running for 30 seconds, walking for a minute or however long you need to recover. So far I’ve lost 62lb and I’ve got 79lb to go, I feel a lot healthier and fitter, not to mention I can chase around my nephews far easier when we play football, I could never consider going back to what I was. I'm quite inactive throughout the day apart from my morning runs and swimming, I'm sat down working alot. I take in about 1000 calories and it's fine for me.

I tried many diets but the only one that worked for me was the low carb diet. And it was hard because carbs are my favorite things to eat. You have to find what will work for you. Good luck.

Hi, I think that emotional eating is common to both of us. I myself eat a lot especiallyduring dnnertime. Worse. I am a carb addict. I eat approximately 6 cups of rice in a day. Poor me. Right now, I am into a watermelon diet. I start my day with watermelon and If I get really hungry by lunchtime, I have a piece of meat and vegetables. I also traded regular soda with diet soda and bought artificial sweetener for my coffee.
