bakso? It is meatball, the word comes from Indonesia. but if we talk about meatball idea, well, I don't have idea where it originated from, but very possible from Indonesia or other Asian countries. because lately I found Chinese foods in Indonesia that had fish meatball, which some Indonesian call "bakso ikan". bakso is usually made of beef, or chicken meat, or fish. but later some restaurants also make bakso from shrimp or even crabs, but these are still rare, I guess, not all restaurants have them. but these special meatballs tasted very unique and great.
