Did you get to spend any time on the beach this summer? I have not been even once. I am pretty mad about it all. We did not really have summer this year. The five days we have had corresponded with me not beeing able to leave my room.

I made it to the beach in June (only at night though) and then I soaked in the sun on the California beaches a month ago, and we are planning another vacation in October, probaly Oregon by the beach, any suggestions for a great vacation getaway? I can never get enough of California beaches, but I think its time I start to explore more! Cant wait! We all deserve it!

I have never been to california - I sure would love to go there. Actually I have never been to the beach in the US. I have some really nice places I could suggest, but they are all in Europe. My number one is Myrtos, or Mirtos, on Crete, Greece. A really great village at the south coast. We were there last october and had a wonderful time.

THis reminded me of a friend who told me his first visit to the beach, he almost released sperms when he saw the ladies almost naked. he was so ambarrassed that he never want to get out of the water so that his ever erected di*k be seen. laugh haaaaaaaaaaaaa. but after sometime he became used to the situation. i like beach life, it's full of fun.

I have enjoyed the beach this year. I have been twice and am going back over labor day. I have a 15 month old and I like to see her expressions when she sees the water.

Sounds nice! We have a niece that has always loved the sea. Ever since she could walk she would always run and throw herself in the water. Hope you have a good labour day!

Thanks, my in-laws have a camper there so it doesn't cost me any money. That makes it even better! You have a great Labor day too!

It is pretty sad to learn that you couldn’t manage to spend your summer vacation enjoying the beautiful sea beach life. Beach life is really attractive. I hope you could manage to have chance to enjoy it very soon. I live in a tropical country with lots of natural beaches here. So we could spend our vacation anytime in the coastal resorts. The latest visit to the beach was few weeks back when we passed by on our way to take some Thai food. We only afford to spend about an hour watching surfs and enjoying the gentle see breeze there.

We had some lovely weather at Easter time but it rained a great deal in July. Most of August has been quite cool apart from a few sunny days. A few days ago the weather was quite hot so I went to the town beach. The tide was in so I enjoyed a little paddle, carefully holding my baby son in my arms. The sea felt rather chilly at first and after a while quite refreshing. Some people were swimming but it was far too cold for me to do this. A bit later on we enjoyed a walk along the pier. It has quite a happy sort of atmosphere and is a delightful place for a stroll. The views out to see, on such a clear day, were amazing. I could see an unspoilt piece of land jutting out to sea, a hilly island, a flat island and another coastline across the water.

Thanks for sharing this with me! Sounds really nice! Hope you will have some more nice days before summer is completely over. It's been exactly like that around here too. I bought a sunbed during Easter - it was so lovely. After Easter it has not been very nice. My sunbed has been all alone out on our veranda. Folded up so it wont get all wet. The last couple of days have been a bit better. hopefully we'll have a nice fall. I so want to be able to sit in the sun by the sea and just relax for a while.

Hi Teison, Living on the beach is fantastic. I live near the beach in Bali and I also worked in a hotel which is on the beach. I have the beautiful view of the beach everyday while am working. Sometimes I do jogging on the beach in the morning and watch for sunsets in the evening. Almost all year is summer in my place, therefore when its rain I like it very much..

If you count the man-made lake at the state park we go to occasionally, yes. :) We didn't spend as much time doing fun summer stuff as I would have liked though.

Yup, that counts:-) Summer vacations and summer always seems too short. Is summer over where you live? I am hoping we will have some more nice days before fall.

That sucks. I didn't do anything exciting this year for summer myself. It just all kind've flew by. We have had some hot days the past couple weeks but i still wasn't able to get out there and enjoy the weather. When the winter time comes i will be wishing it was summer and i was laying on the beach somewhere,

Yes, I always spend plenty of time on the beach as it is only ten minutes drive away from my home. I am sorry that you were stuck in your room for five days. Did you have poor weather this summer? I love to take my dogs to run over the sand dunes.
